De meneer die om drie rollen beschuit schreeuwt heeft zijn handen op zijn rug gevouwen.
"Drie rollen beschuit." Hehaalt de bakster.
Zodra ze wil teruglopen met de rollen, 2 in haar ene hand, 1 in haar andere, rijst de oude man op.
Als hij op z'n tenen staan haalt hij diep adem.
"TWEE HELE BRODEN. DOE MAAR WITTE."
Als de bakster haar arm reikt naar de bovenste houten plank,
maakt de man zichzelf weer groot.
"EN TWEE APPELFLAPPEN."

Dan ben ik.
"Goedemorgen, mevrouw"
Ik zweer dat de bakster het opnieuw meent.
"Hoi, Hallo, Goedemorgen. Heb je nog croissantjes?"
Ze heeft nog croissantjes.
"Mag ik er eentje alsjeblieft? Wat fijn."

Ja, gek is dat he… CROISSANTJES dat is gewoon geen woord om te schreeuwen…
